Proston celebrated an ‘Attitude of Gratitude’

Proston celebrated an ‘Attitude of Gratitude’ by the action of local volunteers in giving some hours of assistance to others in the community to mark this Thanksgiving occasion. Barambah Ministers Association acknowledged the efforts of local police, fire, SES, medical and school officers in our community. The day itself was celebrated in the Town Hall with a Hot Pot lunch and Service following. Some eighty people were addressed by our school chaplain, Vic Chapman, who used the breakfast scene as an example to show how much we are dependant on each other for daily living. He mentioned every facet of life … so much to be grateful for. The Scout group presented their flags and banners. The School choir gave us three rousing Australian songs, ‘All Thank God’, ‘I Am, We Are Australian’ & Living in the Land of Australia’ while local scenes were projected on the screen. It is such a blessing to be a blessing. Thank you, Lord Proston Christians.
