National Day of Thanksgiving 29th May 2010 Liverpool BiCentenary Combined Churhes Celebration Evening.
John Keane Chairman presented a DVD of photos and Music of the Hisiory of Liverpool. Music from Liverpool City Council. The Arabic Music Team organised by Ramsis Gayed moved through the meeting Spiritually and Music, Siging in Arabic and English. The Samoan Group also encoraged and isnspired us with their music and song. Liverpool Baptist music Team added to the blessing on the evening lead by Gordon Shaw who also controlled the sound system. Coucillor Gary Lucas shared on behalf of the Mayor of Liverpool, he enjoyed the evening so much he has asked that we invite him to future events. Prayer by John Hall and Jenny Reddish reading of the Word were encouraging. Paul Mosiejczuk,Liverpool Baptist Pastor, gave an inspiring message re our Christian Heritage. I, Coral Wells, had the honour and priviledge of designing and printing a Thank You Certificated for the Grandparents. It was a delight to stand out the front and present these to the 44 Grandparents and have our two Grandsons hand the bag of sweets to them. The Great South Land of the Holy Spirit finished this part of the evening we then went to the hall below where a delicious supper was sghared by all. Thanks to Liverpool Baptoist for the Venue
