A great opportunity to truly praise God and enjoy His goodness.
Forecast said cold and wet all day in Melbourne, but praise God even though we set up in drizzle the clouds allowed some sun coming through What a great time we had with pony rides, children's craft and games, wind tunnels, cuppas and free sausages, a prayer tree, bubble blowing, face painting, great music and everything free..... and planty of opportunity to say thank God and thanks to others in our community. The formal service at 12.30 allowed us to thank The Mayor of the City of Hobsons Bay, the Principal of the local Primary school, the leader of the Hobsons Bay Churches and a number of small businesses. During the week we provided morning tea for the staff ofd a local school and that provided an opportunity to say thankyou. Throughout the week we had many opportunities to say thankyou as people were armed with yellow 'Thankyou ribbons. A great opportunity to truly praise God and enjoy His goodness.
