Saturday was just such an awesome day for all who were involved. We reached some 840 homes in one day with the help of over 3,000 volunteers across Brisbane and the Greater Brisbane Regions.
More than 100 churches were involved in helping to bless the community through gardening, spring cleaning, rubbish removal and just having a cuppa and a chat with the home owners. We have been overwhelmed with positive feedback from the day. Some of the stories have been that, various home owners asked the volunteers to pray for them in terms of physical healing and life circumstances. Many home owners have invited volunteers back to their home to share a meal with them, as a way to thank them for their help on Saturday. Brisbane’s Biggest Neighbourhood Blitz has definitely been a positive influence in the community, and people lives will never be the same.
